We take our first lab field trip to look for some chytrids and diatoms with Dr. Trisha Spanbauer’s lab and Gia and Ethan cook up a terrifying entry into the department halloween door decoration contest.

Thanks to the hard work of Fay Munro and Ali Asbury from Nikon, our spinning disk confocal microscope is now up and running in the lab! We can’t wait for all the chytrid imaging ahead 🙂
